It is unclear what do you call "download manager", but if it is an add-on program to Windows XP then I would strongly suggest you to turn it off. Many such download managers and assistants do have problems recognizing certain content and ours may as well fall within this group, even if you have not seen the problem with other downloads to the moment. Downloading directly from your Internet browser should work just fine. You will find other postings on this forum from people who have found out that their download managers were preventing them from proper download.

Next thing to watch for is the proper file extension when downloaded; make sure it is ZIP and respecitvely EXE.

RealPlayer has certainly nothing to do with our software; the talking phrasebooks (if that is what you have ordered) should work just well without it, provided the sound files were properly installed and the device sound settings were properly set (not turned off). Some users report that they had to soft reset the device once, although I think that was reported for Sony and not Palm devices.
