There's no way it won't show if you have configured it correctly. Make sure the hack is activated (see the characters in the alternate keyboard in the visual keyboard) and make sure you've set BDicty Dictionary to use standard font. It may actually work on larger fonts too, I am just not sure if they are localized too.
There is nothing specific that BDicty does and it certainly does not carry its own fonts, at least as of version 5.2.
