I had the old version of the German lexicon and used it a lot, because it had the articles and showed the difference between nouns and non-noun words (using uppercase). It was the only Palm product I found with this good functionality.
The gold version went a step backwards in my mind by not having genders ... because I often know a word, but just don't know the gender. In German this is very important because it controls how the adjectives (and some nouns) end and what article should be used (der, die or das ... becomes dem, der or dem depending on the part of speech).
