The English Pro file I downloaded was apparently incomplete, stopping at "martinet." It's 3.03 MB, not 5.41 MB. That apparently caused the problem.
Yesterday, I downloaded it twice, once from Netscape 7.02 and once from IE 6.0.28 (current Windows Update). I dropped down to the command line and did a fc, and the files were identical. I'm trying a third time now with IE and have the whole file:

It installs fine. HotSynch is OK. I have "zyrian" now.
Thank you. I don't know why my download apparently completed normally early with an incomplete file twice yesterday, but that was the problem.
