We are well aware of the problem and I am afraid we have no fast solution to it.
In fact, we are even wondering how to best address it in future product versions; one option would be to use smaller font; another option would be to simply have the phrase on two rows in the list. A third option is to have the source phrase written in full in the translation filed before the actual translation.
