Documents To Go comes with an extended set of fonts, which InterType does not localize. Basically, you would have the same problem in any other application that uses its own fonts.
I believe DTG does allow you to choose the system fonts, though, meaning that if you play with the font settings you should be able to find the font that InterType localizes and therefore see the text properly.
If that is not possible, you may want to write to DataViz and have them enable it as an option. Or, of course, to provide localized fonts for code page 1251, which is less likely to happen.
