Hmm, interesting - you are right. Clearly our QA is primarily in large displays and Treos :-)
You can still use Grafitti, though - it is not very pleasant, indeed, but it is fully possible and needed only once.
We have filed the report, hopefuly it will be addressed in future updates; we do not see it as an immediate show-stopper, though , due to the ability to use Grafitti to enter the code.
