Re: Woman Calendar 6 Feature Missing...

This is a good feature request, but fulfiling it can prove slightly more complex than you might think.

On the functional side, the first and most important bummer is the inability to synchronize between *three* parties, since any party (one desktop and two laptops) can change the same data in same period of time; there is no silver bullet on synchronization for this case. The easiest, yet not trivial solution here, is to disable one of the parties to enter data and be only able to monitor it. What do you think of that? Should be all right if I understand your situation correctly.

Further, whether full read/write or read only rights, we are alreay talking about rights management. This topic has been beaten to death and the general conclusion is that average users do not want to deal with rights management. They are not very good with it either - understanding and applying it. So it has to be carefully considered and limited in functionality to be both useful and udnerstandable without being boring.

There's also the tricky situation where one spouse may have Palm and the other may have a Pocket PC; naturally, people would expect us to provide a full solution, right?

Which brings to probably the most important question - supply and demand. Yours was the very first request I see in this regard.
