We apologize for the inconvenience.
The downloads currently available via the main web site http://blackberry.beiks.com do not include the sound files needed by 8700 and 7100i BlackBerry models.
As you probably already know, those two (BlackBerry 8700 and BlackBerry 7100i) use MP3 encoded sounds as opposed to the rest of the 71xx series, which use ADPCM encoded sounds.
The good news is that the MP3 versions of the phrases used by the BEIKS phrase books *are* immediately available!
Just go http://mobile.beiks.com and navigate to the BlackBerry phrase books section and you'll see links specially made for the 8700 and 7100i series.
We would also recommend downloading the updated version of the program itself.
Although not a requirement, it might be a good idea to first remove the copies you have currently installed on the BlackBerry.
Once again we apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be able to offer dual-mode or alternate installations for Desktop Manager in the very near future.
