To fully comply with
the existing PalmOS devices on the market ABE 2.0 will initially
limit the number of categories to the standard 16. Future ABE
releases will go over that limit.
Because it is based on standard and open
standard ODBC database, ABE allows quick and easy import of data
from current CRM systems. To help that process even more, it comes
with import filters too - Palm Address Book, Act! and
Exchange/Lotus (later) are among the first importing filters
featured by the program.
The client on ABE 2.0 requires
Palm OS 3.5 or higher and Palm Desktop
4.0 or higher. Desktop and server could coexist on same Windows
machine. Public download limited to only TWO separate users.
